Homeopathy and Homeopathic Remedies

What are Homeopathic remedies?

The principles of homeopathy were originally developed by Dr. Samuel Hahnemann (1755-1843), a German physician to the Royal family, and are based in the law of similars, also known as "like cures like."

Homeopathy is a type of natural medicine that uses really small doses of plants, minerals, animals and chemicals.   We look at whatever toxicological symptoms the substance causes and once these symptoms have been noted in detail, we use minute doses of the substance to treat a illness with those same symptoms.   The logic is that your body does whatever it can to survive and your symptoms are the result of that doctor inside of you that is trying to defend you and is trying to heal you. Your symptoms are part of your defences.  The very word, symptom means sign or signal, and symptoms are just the body reacting to whatever it is trying to fix.  Turning of that signal only suppresses the symptoms and does nothing to cure the patient.

Homeopathic medicines rarely bring about instant relief and, in about 20 percent of patients with chronic illness, there is a healing crisis at first and their symptoms get worse in the first 48 hours. Sometimes they re-experience old symptoms they haven't had in many months, years or even decades.  This is the body reversing the damage and working backwards to the start of the illness. In many cases allopathic medications (pharmaceutical medications) have suppressed symptoms which need to re-emerge before the body can get past that point.

Allopathic medications are effective at suppressing a symptom and a disease, and from a homeopathic point of view, the reason there's more mental illness, more cancer and heart disease, chronic fatigue and immune dysfunction is because we treat illness in a suppressive way.

Known as the second most widely used system of medicine in the world, homeopathy is based on three fundamental treatment principles:

Homeopathy was the leading treatment until …

In 1860 the American Medical Association (AMA) felt so threatened by the success of homeopathy that they wrote into their ethics code that if any conventional doctor simply consulted with a homeopath on a patient, they would lose their membership in the AMA.  In the 1860's, that meant you lost your medical license until, finally, the homeopaths organized and created a separate medical board. So, at least if you got your license revoked from the AMA, you could could still practice as a homeopath.  This was the start of the divergence of medical practices.

Homeopathy was the leading therapy until 1910 when the Rockefeller Institute for Medical Research and the Carnegie Foundation in secret collaboration with the American Medical Association (AMA) published the "Flexner Report” with the aim of replacing homeopathy and other natural medicines with chemical drugs.

Is There Scientific Evidence That Homeopathy Works?

The media will typically tell you there's no evidence that homeopathy works. In reality, there are more than 300 double-blind and placebo-controlled trials published in peer-reviewed medical journals, including The Lancet, The British Medical Journal (BMJ),  American College of Chest Physicians, American Cancer Society, British Society for Rheumatology, Pediatric Infectious Diseases Journal, and many more. Many of the best journals in the world have published positive studies on homeopathy.  Whenever you hear people say there's no evidence that homeopathy works, they are either misinforming you or directly lying.

Remember that the big pharmaceutical companies advertise on TV so that they can own the news. That's one reason why we're not getting accurate information about natural therapies and about the importance of vaccine safety.  If you think conventional medicine is scientific, please know statistics show that, last year, enough drugs were prescribed to give every man, woman and child in America 13 prescription drugs. Yet there's no evidence of safety or efficacy of multiple drugs together. They don't do science that way. The evidence base is really limited.

The AMA has also gone to great lengths to keep homeopathy suppressed, and if it weren't for the AMA, there'd be a whole lot more scientific research backing homeopathy. Here's just one of the stories Ullman recounts in this interview:

Taking the Tablets

When taking homeopathic tablets please observe the rules:-

Do not touch the tablets but instead shake them out on to the lid of the bottle or a clean metal spoon and then tip them in to your mouth.  If you use the lid of the bottle then make sure that you don’t touch the inside of the lid or breathe on it.

Drop 2 tablets under your tongue and allow them to dissolve.  Do not take anything strong tasting, such as tea or coffee, before taking the tablets or for about half an hour after they have dissolved (if possible).

If you should get more tablets falling out of the bottle than you need then tip the tablets into your mouth and then remove the unwanted ones and throw them away.  Do not put the excess tablets back into the bottle lest you contaminate the remainder.

When using the 6c tablets then try to take 2 tablets 4 times a day but, if you are unable to do so, try and be consistent and take 2 tablets 3 times a day for a slightly longer period (say 8 days instead of 7 days) or until the symptoms start to subside.

When using the 30c tablets and above (high potency tablets) take just 1 tablet at a time and until the symptoms start to subside (sometimes just one tablet is sufficient).  The higher potency tablets are used mainly for “first aid” or when the symptoms are severe and should not be used as a continuous course of treatment without your practitioners’ instructions. As a rule of thumb, the longer you have had the symptoms, the longer you will need to take the tablets before you notice a change.

REMEMBER! If your condition improves then stop taking the tablets and let your body do the rest.  You can always start taking the tablets again should your condition worsen but if you take the tablets for too long you may cause the symptoms to return again.
